Quade over Sandberg

I like that Lou is gone and I thought Quade did a great job in the ending part of the season, especially playing a lot of young talent. I thought Ryne would get the job for sure though. Anyway, good luck to Quade. Hopefully he'll pilot the Cubbies to a WS.

This makes me sick! while I think it's pry going to work out for the cubs I just don't understand why they would at least make Sandberg bench coach or assistant head coach or something. Give him a title on the big league team so he won't leave for a different team.

What makes me sick is that Jim Hendry is still the GM and will continue not draft well and overpay for guys past their prime like Soriano.

I completely agree. I don't understand why we didn't try and dump so much more salary this year. Zambrano had some interest and we kept him, we should have dumped everyone and brought up all of the young kids in the minors who deserved a shot. instead they sit down there and wait to get traded for an over priced past his prime player.

Good Choice. I love Ryne, but let him get some more time under his belt. Then bring him up to base coach like they did with Quade.

I think Quade is the man for the job. Ryne Sandberg is next though. Let's allow him to earn the skipper.
