Jura/Delonghi/Saeco are your best options. Having an auto-grinder is crucial for an office setting (can't have neanderthals destroying the machine with over-packing or not attaching it properly).

Bought a Delonghi for home use 5 years back (roughly 2 coffees a day) and haven't had to do anything other than change the filter. You may want to look at something that's a bit heavier duty than the three I mentioned since it'll be pumping out a bunch of coffees/espresso shots a day.

Thanks. This would actually be for home use and get ~4 uses per day, so probably doesn't need to be a bruiser.

What model Delonghi did you get?

Home use opens it up for more possibilities, since you're going to trust the operator way more.

Got one that's similar to this one https://www.thebay.com/product/delo...1736267.html?dwvar_0600091736267_color=SILVER

For $3K you enter a different tier than the one I got but the key features to look for - auto grinder, multiple heat settings, auto frother, port for coffee grounds to be used if you don't want to use the grinder - I use this if I buy flavored grounds since the flavored beans are more oily and make a mess if you use them too often.

Anyways - at $3K you will get way more features than you need and may see diminishing returns for dollar spent. They key threshold to pass is the $1K barrier as the name brands start to have good options there.

Small world. I'm trying to buy a Saeco Cannondale this morning on ebay. It's a sign, go with the Saeco.

Had the Delgonhi Eletta in the shopping cart and found a last minute online deal through Costo for the Jura S8 that made it too good to pass up. So it's on the way.

I've never shopped for premium beans before but might as well try some out - I typically go with the most middle of the road beans. Any recommendations for great tasting beans, regardless of price?
