Predictions: When does RichRod get fired?

I believe that Michigan fires RichRod after a loss to Michigan State with a record of 1-5.

Surprisingly I think Michigan is gonna be much improved. In fact I say Michigan is one of our 4 losses. Michigan will finish the year 8-4 or 9-3. I hate to say that because I hate Michigan but Michigan is one of my 10 teams to watch out for this year. Ok now excuse me while I go throw up.

He'll be fired at the end of the season, if its another season like the last 2. So of those Michigan homers on the mgoblue boards are really on the Koolaid.

I'll be the first to admit and swallow my prediction about DickRod. And personally I don't think they go much over .500 this year and he gets bought out and kicked to the curb. 3 bad seasons, NCAA investigations and sanctions, a bunch of questionable players is enough for the alum to load up the shotgun and blow his ass away.

LOL...I said CW would take us to 10-2 last season and would bring ND back to glory. I was just slightly off, eh?

I remember you backing the DickRod train. To your credit, you said he'd start beating ND regularly, and well, he (and 7 zebras) did beat us last year. I think on paper, I could see where you were coming from, and he did scare me when they hired him. But then he opened his mouth, and blamed everyone BUT himself for all his failings. He's made ZERO friends at Mich with his off-field antics, and when you ain't winning, alums don't look the other way.

Throw in his average to poor recruiting classes, and a poor start this year (#23 on ESPNs rankings), and it's not looking good for him. He's toast unless he wins pretty big this year, and I don't see that happening...

After this year he's gone. Michigan goes 3-9 or 4-8.

6-6. Start off 4-1 then a couple close losses to MSU and Iowa and Penn St. Wins over Illinois and Purdue to go to 6-4 then close loss to Wisconsin then blown out at OSU. Fired the Monday after the OSU game and bowl bid declined.

No better than 7-5. My official prediction is 5-7 or 6-6.

There is no way they are going to compete in the Big Ten with that defense. All signs from their spring practice indicate that their defense is going to be bad. Really bad. Possibly worse than last season's terrible unit. It does not help that they lost their two best defensive players either: cornerback Donovan Warren and defensive end Brandon Graham (Graham didn't even touch Jimmy Clausen, regardless, during our matchup). Their secondary is woefully thin and inexperienced as hell (one of their starters is a walk-on: Kevin Kovacs) and against pass-happy offenses like ours they're going to get torn apart.

Michigan homers think that their offense can overcome their defensive shortcomings. As if. Forcier and Denard Robinson are not Jimmy Clausen, Darryl Stonum and Roy Roundtree are not Golden Tate and Michael Floyd, and Kevin Koger is not Kyle Rudolph. There still is not a lot of experience there: all of their quarterbacks are sophomores or younger. They have zero meaningful experience at the running back position. They have decent receivers, but none of them would be starting on our team nor any other team with decent wide receivers.

Rich Rod is gone after this year.

I think they'll finsh 5-7, or maybe 6-6 at best. They won't fire him in the middle of the season, but he won't be back in 2011.

Then they travel to Indiana and lose to the Hoosiers(Indiana is my surprise team this year). They lose their next three against Michigan State, Penn State and Iowa. anyway I see Richrod out after this year. The defense looks even worse than last year, so does the o=line and they look like the QB will be a freshman again

Luckily for us (and Dayne's confidence) their secondary is supposed to be their worst unit by far (thus the 3-3-5 for an extra back). 400 yards and 5 TDs for Crist is not outside the realm of possibility. This will be TJ's breakout game. They'll double Floyd and he'll just go off with his crisp routes, finding the seams in the defense and running over some DBs.
