Poodle to the Dolphins???

I heard on the radio this morning that Pete Carroll is talking to the Miami Dolphins. I have scanning the internet this morning but have yet to find anything. Does anyone have anything on this? My fellow co-workers are as suprised as me.

Probably nothing more then a meeting. I doubt anything will come of this. I think he would be a fool to leave all that talent behind. But more power to him. It took Saban all of two seasons to bolt from the NFL. How long would Petey last? I'm giving Petrino 2-3 seasons in the ATL.

I don't look for him to leave especially to go to miami. If he was leaving I think he would go to az so he could be back wioth matt l. he would already have his qb in place for his system. he has said that this is the best recruiting class he's had so why would he leave that talent behind to go to the nfl. I wish he would but don't look for it.

There's no way in hell Pete Carrol Is going to the pros. He's at Usc for awhile. Maybe in another 4-5 years but not now. No way.

Money talks....$8M a year guaranteed for 5 years...and he's a goner. He could then retire and enjoy life without all the pressure placed on high profile coaches. But I do think you and others overestimate his coaching ability.....Hell, you and I could win with the talent he gets from CA.

I've at times thought that too,but he is a good recruiter.

Personally - I think there is a chance he goes to the pros again soon, maybe not this year. He has an ego bigger than the state of California can hold and the one thing he has not done is be successful in the pros. I think he wants to show that he can do that.
