Do we stay in the top 25 after losing to the #6 team in the country by 7 points? Or, do we still not get any love? We lost to USC who also beat #7 Ohio State who lost to Purdue(who we beat). Last I looked OSU had a GREAT cupcake schedule and they will still be in the Top 20. If we can stay in the top 25 and then run the table and with a little help, we could sneak into a BCS game with 10-2 record.

Lots of top 25 teams lost today also and in much less impressive fashion than we did:

#21/#21 South Florida lost to Cincy by 17
#22/#22 South Carolina is losing to Alabama
#20/#18 Oklahoma lost to Texas (3rd loss)
#14/#17 Nebraska lost to Texas Tech

#17/#15 Kansas is down by 14 at halftime to Colorado
#16/#14 OK State is playing #31/#24 Missouri tonight

Teams behind us in the two polls who could jump us are Pitt (#26/#28), Auburn (#27,#26), WVU (#28,#31), Ole Miss (#29,#27)

I just hope we stay in so that the voters keep thinking about us....once you get out of the top 25 it just seems like this year especially you have to beat a ranked team to get back in....they just forget about everyone else

We drop out. If we weren't facing USC this weekend, we wouldn't have been ranked anyway. Is it right, no, but it is the way it will be.

Depends on what happens around the bottom of the rankings. If a few teams lose (from 25-18) and there is a lot of parity from 26-32, we'll stay in the Top 25.

That being said, we'll either stay the same, or drop no lower than 28.

Our strength of schedule keeps looking better. This will all resolve itself if we keep on winning. It wouldn't hurt if we could gain some style points by putting some whoopin's on a few of our upcoming opponents. This offense should be able to put up 40 on anyone left on our schedule.
