Pitt Basketball Notebook: Louisville players back no-show Pitino at ACC media day

Louisville's basketball program is embroiled in a scandal that includes prostitutes, strippers and possible NCAA violations, so the school decided not to send head coach Rick Pitino to ACC media day Wednesday. The school did, however, send two players, and while forward Damion Lee and guard Trey Lewis are graduate students who weren't on campus when the alleged events took place , both came to Pitino's defense, saying the situation has brought the team closer.
