Andy is having his "found religion" moment on ESPN right now, admitting he took HGH. He's explaining what he did, why he did it, although he is claiming that doesn't make him a cheater. He sounds much more contrite than Giambi who said nothing more than "I'm sorry..." without specifying what he did or what he was sorry for.

He's giving details on what he is sorry for. Of course the press won't leave the Roger Clemens questions alone, even though his atty said beforehand they can't and won't go into detail on him.

I appreciate the fact he has said a number of times that when called to testify under oath, he did so truthfully and will do so in the future if called to testify (ie. he's not going to hold anything back if asked). That is an absolute bedrock of our legal system.

ok, these guys who just took it to "recover from injury" yet claiming they did not gain any competitive advantage are intellectual dingleberries.

if they took it to recover, and they wouldn't have recovered without it, or the recovery would have taken longer, then they gained a competitive advantage compared to other players. if other players sufferring from similar injuries took longer to heal, longer to get back in the lineup, or did not recover and were not able to return, then taking the HGH gave an advantage.

it doesn't have to give you an advantage every game throughout your career. taking it once gives you an illegal advatnatge once.

I wonder how this will impact Andy throughout the season. He seems like he has a sensative nature and I can only imagine what will come of the whole ordeal. How that impacts him mentally is yet to be seen, but having to deal with something like this in NY can't be pretty.
