Move Young to LT, Move Wegner to LG. Sully stays a Center. Put Carufel at RG and Put Romine to RT. And fire John Latina. Get some new O-Line Coach and a reciever coach as well.
I actually think that might be a pretty good setup.
OH yeah that'll fix it....LMFAO
Dude, calm down. Do you really think that you are the only one here that is upset about the way ND has played this year?
Why are you even on here if the only thing you're going to do is complain, and then make smart alec to those that are trying to actually have a productive conversation?
Seriously. What an ass.
As to Latina and the o-line: it sucks, because I want to say that it's because this is a young group, they're going to take a while to gel, and yada yada yada, but that's a bunch of horseshit, because last year we had a veteran o-line with four seniors, two of whom are in the NFL (right?) and one more of whom will almost certainly be there next year, and we sucked then, too. I think Latina deserves every bit of the flack he's getting; anyone who wants to start up firelatina.com can count on having me as a blogger.
They need to consider a different point of view, that of a winner, instead of a loser. The offensive line quit early in the game. If nothing else a Notre Dame team should fight until the last moment with every ounce of fight in them. " Carry me off wounded and to the point that I can not breath, but not until then." They were not prepared plysically or mentally. They looked like a high school team and a bad one at that. Great coachs can't make great players, however great players can make coachs look very good, it is too bad we do not seem to have either one. Who recruited this team, no speed in the back field, receivers that can not catch, and a quarterback who might be good if he did not have to spend most of his time scrambling for his life or spend considerable time on the ground wrapped in the arms of the defense. Charlie, you have done the school a misjustice, you are the source of the program, the game is played with heart and your players do not seem to even have a pulse.
I highly doubt you've ever set foot on our campus let alone be an alumn. And I'm the ass huh.... wake up

What number was Latina wearing tonight? I don't remember him missing any blocks. Did coach Inaello miss any passes tonight? Come on wake up we are not that good on the line because of lack of experience. I can't wait in a year or 2 what you negative posters will be saying when we are very experienced and dominating college football. Do you think Carufel and Romine would be on the bench if they were better than the 2 starting? Armando Allen is already taking TT job. The players that give us the best chance to win will play. I am willing to watch us take our lumps this year for what is in store the next 4 years. Go IRISH!!!!!

No one in their right mind could or would try to make an excuse for what we saw today. The fact is that Notre Dame has lost their first two games, they have not scored a touch down or even worse they do not have any positive yardage. I am an alum and a life long fan and I am embarassed to see a program fall to such a depth. If there is not a change on the field I am sure the school will make changes. It is easy to blame someone who has left the program, it is much harder to face the fact that a serious problem exist and that if there is not a change it will get worse.
I'd like to believe you, but last year we had PLENTY of experience and the o-line was still terrible. Maybe not quite as bad as this crew, but terrible nonetheless.
