NSD 2010 Worth Taking Off?

Hey fellow Irish fans.

I was wondering if anyone else thinks NSD 2010 to be worthy of taking a day of vacation for.

I was hoping if I did take off, if some form of televised entertainment could add to my reason to intoxicate myself while dreaming of possible national championships.

What I don't want to see is Gator nation chomping their arms like a bunch of fruitcakes, unaware of Liar's plan to kill over and die after Saban whoops that @$$ again.

Any suggestions?

I will be off for that day and am very excited about watching espn 360 starting at 10 am est. time. I hope it is worth it. I agree, I do not want to see the gator chomp anymore.

I think this is going to be a great class of diamonds in the rough!!!

It all depends. Here in Tallahassee, warchant.com is having a NSD party at my favorite bar with the local sports talk radio guy. I'm not going to go because I am poor and need to work.

I wouldn't waste a vacation day on it. I doubt there will be anything "earth shattering" that occurs. The again, that's easy for me to say because I'll be at work listening to ESPN radio anyway.

For the first time, I am taking the day off. I just happen to be doing my taxes that day at 12 pacific, so I figured I would take one my personal days (I never use all of them and they don't accrue at my school) and watch everyone else have fun. Just hoping we can catch one big fish (doubtful) and sign some of the new guys we've been recruiting, and hoping SC's class implodes in Kiffy's face. Those things would make my day, but I'm not planning on it. Still looking forward to it though...

oh yeah riley, and cooper! we could have a pretty decent class by thursday.

Mick, Riley and Cooper are all but out, Riley especially. As for the rest, from my own, GUESSING opinion, I'd rank our chances in this order:

1. Spond
2. Iaone
3. James
Tied for 6th: Ferguson, Henderson and Jones.


If we got the top 3 I'd say Kelly did as best he could and I'd be good with this class, all things considered. The fact that we'll get a hat on the table for the last 3 is a pretty good indicator IMO that Kelly will be a fine recruiter for ND, as long as he wins of course. if we got any of those final 3, I'd be jumping for joy, but I'm not holding my breath...

That would be a nice little get as well....I can't wait for NSD, I remember the excitement last year when Manti like the respectable kid he is, didn't pick up any other hats, just picked up the Irish hat and said he would be attending Notre Dame....Thing of beauty I tell ya.

id love schwenke, we just got spond. i feel like we'll get james, and maybe jones. ferguson would be great. i am actually excited about this class, lueders, martin, hurd, and bernard will be sorry they didnt come.

takin a days vacation and hoping for the best...either way im not going to cut my wrists if its bad cause i have faith in this group of coaches...but coaching is a hell of alot easier when you have good athletes to put on the field...still, im excited and hoping (and expecting) for the best...

i'm just super excited, i see a lot of bullshit talk on here lately about BK not doing a very good job just because he offered a couple of 2 and 3 star players, and all the oh i will believe it when i see the product on the field. i believe he and his staff have done a tremendous job coming in later than desired and getting some very fine recruits. can't wait to see how it all finishes, but if we didn't add any more, i would still be very proud.

Not if the IE database are down.

So far: Kiffin, Dooley, and Holtz then Kelly are having the best new coach recruiting day imo.
