I agree with this. Boise State is good. Petersen is a great coach. That's why they stomped Oregon. That's why they beat them a few years ago too. That's why they beat Oklahoma. They are good. Every player on that team does their assignments. They are good year in and year out for a decade. Why does everyone still doubt them? They do it consistently.

Put them in the SEC, where they would have to play a solid team more than once or twice a year, and they average 6-6 over ten years.

are improving at the moment with Iowa losing. Irish need to take care of business and they need some help. I believe a Boise or TCU loss is a must for a 10-2 Irish team to get in.

Boise and TCU are not going to lose the rest of the way.

Agreed. Maybe if Nevada brings the A game it could be close, but probably both will go undefeated. Still, only one is going to the BCS, so most likely TCU.

Sure, put them in the SEC where they can recruit and have the same facilities and alumni. Okay. Now are they averaging 6-6? See, if you want to play hypotheticals, you have to consider everything that would go along with that hypothetical.

The point is that they have a solid program that is consistent through coaching changes and graduating players. Why doesn't Hawaii or Nevada dominate the WAC if it's so easy? Winning on a consitent basis year in and year out is very difficult. Just ask Notre Dame. For any school to be able to do that is commendable. It takes dedication of administration, coaches, players, and students.

Sorry. I don't think I was very clear. Yes, they are a top flight MID MAJOR. But I'm tired of hearing about how they deserve the same respect as people give a one loss team from a major conference.

Heh. Sure they will. Maybe we'll play them.

No, we won't be playing them. The ceiling now is the Cotton Bowl.
