Do you think we will go no-huddle at all on Saturday similar to the 1st quarter against MSU? USC's nickel back is out I believe, and I figure the less linebackers on the field, the better.

Good prediction, irishfan. I'd be blown away, and scared, if Charlie came out with that "pound it" attitude against SC.

I think we can expect a lot of 3 and 4 wide, maybe no huddle to start. Don't think we'll see a lot of no huddle. ND doesn't want this to be a fast game. They want to keep that SC offense off the field as much as possible, and same goes for USC.

The biggest piece of this puzzle is O line. Give Jimmy time, and things should be Ok.

If jimmy can't set his feet and is harrassed anything near what he was last year, and this game won't be worth watching.

I think the opening drive will look a lot like this:

- Three, four wide sets
- Lots of draws
- Lots of screens to Rudolph
- Possibly opening with an I-formation, play action pass to Tate
