NM Highschool Playoffs

I'm up early this morning, thanks in part due to the time change. My local team is in contention within NM's 5A division, but I knew most here would be interested in Hegarty's 4A bracket, where he's helped lead his team to the largest points for versus points against ratio in the division.

That being said, I still think Roswell Goddard will take it all. Here's the bracket link for your viewing pleasures:

I heard trick or treat is quite an event in New Mexico as there are hundreds of thousands of people---adults as well as children---dressed as Brian Urlacher.

Ok enough ripping on the Land of Enchantment-- I follow high school football as well- well I used to follow it alot more when I lived in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton etc..) in PA; but I Still check in on the websites to see the results.

So I respect the fact that youre following your states high school playoffs.

Are you headed to any of the games? I grew up and played in Belen...i see they are good this year. Its very possible they met next round...why dont you drive up North...and lets go to the game!

I'm with you Killz, but I am an Albuquerque local.

NM doesn't have much talent but every couple of years, they produce a 5 star prospect. Bobby Newcomb went to Nebraska and played QB but eventually lost that to Eric Crouch around 98'. Aaron somthing went to Texas as D-lineman and another dude went to Michigan as a D-lineman and is now in the NFL. And now Heggarty to the Irish.

Belen and Aztec would be sweet too! Lets do 'em both. I got four hours to Albuquerque. Let me make sure it's possible since I've got to work. I run a crew and if I have no substitute I can't make next weekend when all of this goes down. Belen and Aztec is made of dreams... And then Goddard in the final.
