We know New Orleans can handle 16 feet of water... but can they handle a few inches of snow? We're about to find out.

Gentlemen, place your bets!

Well, that's interesting... I'm not a Mod, so I didn't think it would even let me post a vBookie event. But it did!

Just don't get used to this, guys. ;)

How much snow and how cold will it be in Chi-town? Living down here in FL, I forget that it even gets cold.

Currently in Chicago, it's a balmy 20 degrees.

Friday Night
Clear...colder. Lows 8 to 12 above. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday
Sunny. Highs in the upper 20s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.

Saturday Night
Becoming cloudy. Not as cold. Lows in the lower 20s. Light and variable winds in the evening becoming southeast 10 to 15 mph after midnight.

Sunday
Snow. Some snow accumulation possible. Highs in the upper 20s. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Funny you should mention that... when I was growing up, I always wanted to be a meteorologist. I never did do any formal studies or training, but I taught myself a lot as a kid. As a result, every hurricane season I'm the "go-to" guy at work whenever there's something brewing out there.

But as for the Chicago forecast, nah, I just copied-and-pasted that from Weather Underground, and tweaked the formatting to make it look better on here. :)
