Whats the matter cry baby ?? Cant handle the truth ? The team sucks and you know it. You can try and defend it all you want, bottom line is you are 1-3 and headed for another losing season.

Coming in whining after a loss ?? Mother ****er I didnt just watch my first ND game today !!! Ive watched them lose their *** on several occasions. And unlike you, i can point out the reasons they suck. You seem to want to sugar coat it and tell yourself it will get better in time. Well genius...tell us all how much god damn time you need.

So basically you dont want anyone talking honestly about your team cause it makes your pussy hurt. **** off mother****er........if you cant handle the truth, dont ****ing read my posts.

And oh no !!!! Im in the "red" now ?? WHO THE **** CARES ?

I was probably watching ND games when you were still leaving skidmarks in your frooty looms numbnuts

Well, that was a short stay. Thanks for coming, now go back to NDNation or any other site that enjoys the way you speak to fellow Irish fans.

A for Crist, it takes time, whether you want to see that or not. Let's look at anther redshirt sophomore's numbers through 4 games, shall we? Matt Leniart, through his first 4 games:

58%, 924 yds, 8 TDs, 6 INTs

Crist:
59%, 1,155 yds, 8 Tds, 3 picks.

You're right...Crist sucks! And Leinart must have too! SC should have benched him! Who cares if he ended up winning a Heisman...he wasn't very good his first four games as a starter!!! And before you say that Leinart was winning games...they were winning in spite of him, not because of him. He had much better talent around him than Dayne does, especially his line and the running game. And these first 6 games are simply too much for any team to have to go through. Terrible scheduling.

Damn, it makes me wonder if some of you so-called fans even watch college football ever. (Almost all the fans here on this are fine...I won't even go on other ND sites yet b/c of people like this guy.) Yes, Crist needs work, but he'll grow into his role, and we'll be fine there. I worry about other things more than I worry about Crist.

gents.....we just played 3 legitimate top 25 teams with one of them possibly a top 10 team
(Stanford)....2 of those teams we played very very close and it could have gone either way. We were beat soundly by Stanford.

All of this happening with a new coach....new QB.....lack of defensive depth......and learning a new system. Anyone that really understands college football or has watched it closely would realize that this team is going to be very good in the future and has a lot of potential. Combine that with the recruits on the defensive side of the ball that Kelly is stacking up (top 10 class if not top 5) and you have the recipe for the rebuilding of a program.

If you get this pissed over a building year and attack the team or coach in this manner, I can't see you as a true fan of the game or more importantly the Irish. Make sure that 2 years from now you come on here and admit that you were wrong......you could go on a Texas forum right now and call for Mac Brown's head because he is obviously all jacked up as well.....btw Stanford cooked up UCLA who just beat the number 7 team in the nation soundly.
Agree 100%.
Stanford is an excellent football team. We lost 2 other very close games to very good football teams. Did anyone on this board think we were going to play in the BCS championship game this year? I must admit, I hoped for better; however, we are what we are. A team at the start of a rebuilding process. ND will be better-much better, even before the end of this season.

I want nothing more than see improvement wek after week from all of them, Dayne included. So far, it's still a frustrating "book"

Back to Dayne, what worries me isn't the numbers, it's a the lack of "clutch". When it counts, his game steps back, not up.
I really do hope it's not not a defining characteristic of his and is coachable in time, but right now the "deer in the headlights" look that he has on field under pressure is disconcerting

And if his teammates see it the same way, that can deflate their fragile confidence.
Don't get me wrong, the fact that any Irish player has a fragile confidence is a concept which turns my stomach, nevertheless it is a fact, as we've seen them play under Rees and Montana, and they also seemed to play flat for this game, especially in the 2nd half

Will to win? Nasty agressiveness? I'd love some, but I don't see it from anyone but AA, Teo and Carlo. If Crist has it he isn't showing it, and as the leader of the O , maybe BK show him the importance of being more emotional. Make Teo his bunkmate or something
