On BlueandGold.com today i read in the News and Views today that said,

I have reason to believe that the Irish are close to adding another commitment to the Class of 2009 from an area of the country the staff is beginning to call home. This player is an offensive player and could become verbal commit No. 15 in the near future. I apologize for the cryptic nature of this but it is fair to the player to let him announce at his own time and it is fair to let you guys know that I believe a commit is on his way.

I was just wondering if anybody had any thoughts on who this mystery recruit might be?

welcome to the site. if you quote an article from a premium site like rivals, scout or BGI, you can only do so if it's a free article. if it's free, put the short clip in quote blocks and and also include a link.

thanks. and synoptico is probably right. seems the most logical.

He says that its from a place nd is starting to call home. That means it is probably NJ or CA. ND has gotten two of the top prospects from CA and CW is from NJ and many of NDs recruits come from there. So i would agree it is either Evans or Nysher. The only other place it could be is Illinois particularly Chicago, but i dont know any1 Nd is recruiting there. If any1 could come up with one please tell me. I dont think Evans would commit so soon after he "soft" committed to USC so My money is on Nysher

all good thoughts. if it is from Illinois, i guess it could be a 2010 recruit.

p.s. im gonna say not shaquelle evans because (i just posted a new thread about it) he gave a soft verbal to usc today according to scout.

he is still coming to the purdue game this weekend so maybe we have a chance at talking him into playing for free... lets hope.

I think the topic of Shaq Evans was discussed like a week ago, and it was pointed out that Shaq made his "verbal" without talking to his parents or making the ND trip. He is still very much in the air from what insiders( SoCal) have been saying.
