USA Today coaches' poll drops us a spot to #14, with Iowa leap-frogging us.

And that's it. I've been awake for entirely far too long. I'm going to bed.

gotta move Iowa up, hype up that game against OSU even more. Suprised the AP didn't move Iowa up. I just love how when ND comes back in a game it is for the most part referred to as "the luck of the Irish" and when other teams come back, it is referred to as "A great comeback" AKA Georgia, NC State, OSU (even though they were only down 3-0).

Anyone who is Irish knows that if it wasn't for bad luck, we wouldn't have any luck.

i think they have a show of knocking off louiville or west virginia which would help out or small NC chances

Well, the AP write-up on the game referred to Notre Dame making "a furious 4th-quarter comeback," which I thought was very well-phrased. So at least one guy was willing to give credit where credit was due.

The Irish just need to keep winning (one week at a time) and the polls will sort themselves out! Though ND is through the 'rough part of the schedule (except for USC)', they can't relax for any game. They'll gradually move up each week .... patience isn't a virtue, it's a necessity!

I am just glad to get out of the first part of the schedule with only one loss. It could have been more start rooting for the underdogs to knock off some of these undefeated teams now.
