According to bgi.rivals.com...it says that Haywood will be coming to the irish after texas finishes there game on the 1st to be the OC...personally i don't know the guy, but i do know that he can coach RB's...interesting to see how much of the playcalling coach Weiss give's him..

He is an ND alumnus, which is good. I suspect that if Cutcliffe is coming too, they will have a peculiar three-way relationship of mixed duties with Weis. Both Cutcliffe and Haywood would thereby become position coaches too.

And who first started this spelling of Weis with a double-s anyway?

Cutcliffe would be the logical choice here. What he did for both Manning brothers speaks for itself. He and Weis + Brady Quinn = Heisman Trophy.

Cutliffe is outstanding with qb's. Was considered the best OC in college football when he was with Tennesse. Where he won a national championship calling the offensive plays.

Haywood is an outstanding recruiter, one of Mack brown's best recruiters.

Yeah, I don't think you can deny Cutliffe. Look at how UT did after he left.
