My wife and I had our first baby Monday Oct. 22. She is 7 lbs and 20.inches long. We are excited to be home.

Is everyone asking when you're having your second? When my wife (then girlfriend) and I were dating, everyone asked when are you getting married. Right after we got married, everyone asked when are you having kids. Right after we had the first, they asked when are you ahving the second. Right after we had the second, they then asked whether we're trying for more. Ugg.

But congrats!

Babies are no work at all, this should be a breeze.

You got slow down, it's called laddering. You have 1, then you wait 10 years, have a second one, and then you're off. By the time the second and subsequent children are around, you have a 10 year old child fully capable of taking care of them.
