Some surprises:

* Aldridge at kick returner??? What happened to a burner? Cierre? Maybe they're going to try to scheme it where Riddick will get almost every catch, and Aldridge will lead block for him. Weird choice for me.

* Shaq isn't listed on the 2 deep at WR.

* Hughes has been passed up by Gray. Hopefully he lost his fumblitis issues.

* Burger as a backup FB is interesting.

* Walls isn't starting (yet). Looks like his injury set him back...

Everybody was talking about Shaq as the 3rd WR and he didn't even make top 4 (at least not yet).

I notice in the past, Fr. on this team rarely get aggressive placement on the depth chart, but still get quite a bit of playing time, and almost by default move up the depth chart over time.

I believe Gray is ahead of Hughes because Hughes has to sit for the first half of the opener due to a fight in the USC game at the end of the year. Something like that...

I don't understand it.

I hate Robby Parris. The guy's "hands" are overrated as hell and he's also slower than a wounded bull. UGH. Why can't Shaq be the fourth receiver?

Evidently he's improved OR Shaq is not quite ready in the eyes of the coaches!
