ND vs. WF and it aint even close. I'll check LSU Bama during commercials and might switch over late 4th quarter if the Irish are up big and LSU Bama is a nail biter, but ND trumps all other games no matter how big they are.

Im going to a surprise bday party tonight at a friends house. they just got a keg, over 100 wings, and lots of grilled meats. They are featuring the LSU/Bama game.

I seriously doubt anyone gives a rats arse about the Irish game, besides me. Its going to be awkward for me to even bring it up or mention the ND game. In fact, im almost sure if i even bring it up with the "National Championship" game being played, I'll prob get a collective slap, lol.

Having said that, I'm campaigning for a second TV, and I already have ESPN Score Alerts on my cell.

Just for fun, what if you only had one TV in your house and you weren't able to flip back and forth between games (No DVR-ing, going to a friends/bar, or watching online, etc). Now I'm as big of a ND fan as anyone, but I'm also a fan of college football. A #1 vs #2 regular season game between rivals is a once in a decade kind of game.

Yah I agree, their athletes don't even compare to what is going to be on the field at wake forest. Unfortunately I will be at a party that will only have the bama and lsu game on.

For what it's worth, my post had nothing to do with the caliber of athlete. Just that I don't find LSU or Alabama to be very interesting football teams. I think a Boise v Stanford or, to go retro, Texas vs USC type game would be much more interesting, as they would be likely to produce a wide open, compelling game of football. Expect a lot of dives and counters tonight at your party.

Yah I've been watching both. The Bama game is exciting and has a crazy atmosphere. The ND game is absolutly embarassing. I'm glad the entire country is watching bama so they don't have to witness such a **** poor performance by our beloved Fighting Irish.

As great a game as LSU-Bama may be, Notre Dame truimphs all. I'll watch #1 - #2 on Sunday morning.

I only flipped over to LSU/Ala during timeouts but from what I saw I think both of these super powers could lose a game before the season is over. The offenses made those great defenses look even better (from what I saw). Nothing gets in the way of me watching the 'Irish'-if I wanted to watch pros I'll watch on Sunday! I'm serious when I say I would not be surprised if Ala loses 2 and somebody beats LSU-Qb's and offenses are not good.
