10-4 Irish with 15:01 left in the 1st. Atkins has 5 and looks good. Grant with 3 and Martin with 2.

For those who are curious, MVSU isn't great but they aren't terrible. They are one of the better teams in the SWAC and have a starting lineup full of seniors.

15-12 with 11:45 left. Atkins with 8 now. Back court looks good, but we're just slightly sloppy overall. Grant has great vision and looks like he can play some PG when Atkins is out.

And Connaughton just came in the game, so I'm excited to see what he looks like. We've played 8 guys already and that doesn't include Abro who is out.

25-21 with 6:59 left. Atkins and Grant each have 8. They both look great. D is shaky. Tom Knight has played also, so that is now 9 players. It will be interesting to see how many guys are still getting PT when conference play comes around.

Shooting should come around as the season progresses, but Drago, Martin, etc, have been awfully cold from outside, so far.

MVSU is quick. They're good in transition and play pretty solid pressure defense.

32-28 with 2:09 left. We're playing decently but sloppy at times. If we don't pull away and win by 15+ I'll be surprised.

38-30 now. Atkins with 16 as mentioned above. Grant with 8 and Martin with 9. Those three with Abro should provide a bulk of the offense.

43-41 with 14:29 left. Just sloppy play and a bad matchup. I'm worried about us against Detroit without Abro.

68-52 now. Atkins with 25. 5:23 left.

72-57 with 3:47 left. Atkins has 27 and just went out with hopefully just a cramp. Martin with 15 and Grant with 11.

I'm worried about the game against UDM. They're not very good, but they're more athletic and have decent talent - essentially the prototype of the teams we get upset by every year in the first or second round of the tourney.
