I love watching this Irish team play. I loved Harangody, but man this team just meshes so well together. Ben Hansbrough is lights out right now and I'm more impressed with his passing outside in so far than with his hot shooting.

We're doing a great job answering Kentucky and hustling after every rebound. This team WANTS it.

We have to be able to weather the mini-runs that Kentucky makes and take the crowd out of the game. We're a veteran team so we need to keep playing heady basketball.

That last no-look pass by Ben was in theory a great play, but when a team has a mini-run going, you'd probably like to make more sure passes en route to a solid shot.

It seems like everytime I text my dad "Irish looking good" they stop looking good. Playing very well but I can't stand the way Kentucky worked their way back into it. Guess that's basketball

Gody was a great player, but the gameplan during his time was sort of asinine in the fact that we relied on him to do so dang much for our offense. This team uses all five players successfully and thus is much better suited to play consistent ball. If one cog is cold, you still have four other options. When Gody was cold, we were terrible a lot of times.

Just kidding. I'm rooting for Carolina right now because Hoosier bred Tyler Zeller is on the squad...and I hate Dook more than ever because those dang Plumlees are originally from Indiana but moved out to NC to send the kids to a Dook pipeline school. Curse you Plumlees.

And now begins the never-ending minute that makes basketball the worst sport in the country.

ND is a good basketball team, but once they get down it seems as if they forget how to play basketball. They take shots that they wouldn't make even if no one was in front of them. They run to the basketball and fall to the ground while taking a shot, that won't go to far.

Once they get to the point that they have more confidence in their base offense, while being down. Then they can do great things, because they work well together. They just mess them self up when they are down

We were in decent position down the stretch but just could not hit any shots and struggled at the line as well. If we shoot even halfway decently at the end of the game, we had a good shot at winning.

Give Mike Brey a team full of no-name and unproven players and he will get a good performance out of them. As soon as someone becomes a star, he gives them too much freedom and it hurts the team. Harangody took a lot of bad shots last year that hurt the flow of the game and Chris Thomas did the same thing in his later years.
