I was looking at the week 6 schedule and ABC is showing ND v UCLA and PU vs tOSU at 8pm ET. How do I figure out which game is gonna be on in selected areas? This is an odd situation with 3 of the teams being from the Midwest. I am in Indianapolis and I will be furious if I get the tOSU game. Any help would be appreciated.

Try going here and then entering your market information. That should tell you. I'm out in Cali, so I know UCLA will be on for us.

When they were leaving tonight's game they just said next week most of you wi'll be getting PU and O$U, while some of you will be getting ND and UCLA. If I had tro guess I think you're going to get screwed you're closer to PU than ND, and southern IN has quite a few OSU football fans.

It's pretty poor planning by ABC if you ask me, three midwest teams all at the same time, and two from the same half of the same state.

Does anyone's actually say OSU/Purdue? Everyone that I have checked gives me ND/UCLA (I live in Toledo)

According to TV Guide, I'm seeing the same thing. But likely, we'll have to yank out the check book and pony up for GamePlan. Uggggh... I hate giving those bastards money.

I will go to a bar first, before I pay more on top of my cable bill

They have me listed with the ND/UCLA game here in TN. That's awesome! And boy does it piss the locals off when they do that.)

That just made my day. I could not find it but, who wants to watch the big 10? Isn't that what ESPN/ESPN 2 has their 11:00 game for?

My local abc website (Toledo) has made the change to the OSU game.

I'm here in CT and they listed the teams that are to be played as TBD.

I bet you it's going to be PSU/OSU

Via Michael Rothstein:

A TV Update For This Weekend

Notre Dame-UCLA is one of many games being shown on ABC at 8 p.m. Saturday. For those in the Midwest and other places, there is a direct conflict with Ohio State-Purdue, a Big Ten game between two undefeated teams.

At least in Fort Wayne and in other places around Indiana, this poses a problem.
In Fort Wayne, here is the solution. Ohio State-Purdue will be on regular ABC (Channel 21). Notre Dame-UCLA will be on MyTV, which is broadcast on Channel 33-2. In order to get ND-UCLA, your television set needs to have digital capability. You don't need to actually have digital cable, just the capability to show digital cable on your set.

There are other options. You can find your local sports pub, which will be able to show the game if it has ESPN's Pay-Per-View Gameplan option. Or, you could buy the Gameplan.

That, of course, is up to you.

Maybe that helps?

Purdue officials on Saturday had said they expected about 80 percent of the country to see Purdue's game, with only West Coast viewers seeing Notre Dame's game.

That is from the gary post-tribune. doesnt sound too promising for the rest of us.....

I just saw this, which squares with what Rothstein said about the Fort Wayne area:

I think I saw on NDNation that Indy is showing PU/OSU but is simulcasting ND/UCLA on their digital x-2 channel. It's what they're trying to get done in Chicago as well. So if you have digital cable (check your guide for channel) or a digital (ATSC) tuner and a UHF antenna, you will get it on the x-2 subchannel. I might have seen somewhere that this is 6-2.

unless you plan on just sitting there, wouldn't it be better just to get the gameplan for 20 bucks? if you figure food and drinks into the mix, you'll prob spend more at the bar.

I'll eat before I go, and only have a couple beers there.
