ND Ranking?

What will our ranking be going into the Michigan game?

I doubt we crack the top 25, but I am sure we receive some votes to be 26-30.

I say at least #25, so far there have been 4 or 5 top 25 teams who have lost and ND won convincingly as well. So I think that will help them.

6 (at least) Top 25 teams have lost or will lose this weekend, I think ND may sneak in around #24 or #25 just so the ratings on the Michigan game will be better having two ranked teams going at it.

I hope they stay unranked. Then they beat Michigan and Michigan will somehow move up a spot. 2-0 will get them ranked for sure.

i hope we aren't ranked. so when michigan LOSES to an UNRANKED team, it won't look so good. Michigan has EVERYTHING to lose!

Yeah, as good as this win was, I don't think it'll be enough to get them ranked. A win at Michigan certainly would though.

Usually on tuesday the new rankings come out, but since there were games sunday & monday, they'll probably come out later today or wed morning. I dont think ND will be ranked in the top 25, but they"ll be in the neighborhood.

Ummmm...new rankings usually come out around 1:00 on Sunday. ESPN will have them first as they conduct the coaches' poll, and will post the AP as soon as it is added to the wire.

Correct, from here on out. Labor Day weekend was all screwed up because of Sunday and Monday games.

I don't really care about the rankings, to be quite frank. Wins and losses are all that really matter. The more wins you have, the better chance you will be in position for a shot at the title.
