Bruce Feldman of ESPN thinks so. He also has a nice little knock on ND at the end, but then again, I can't really say he's wrong. He's a noted prick though, so take it with a grain of salt. He rips ND's schedule, but says nothing bad about Michigan's. Whatever. Anyways, here goes:

I agree except for the "getting throttled' part. If this team is 11-1 they will be extremely confident, and those kids on the d-line won't be kids anymore by the time the bowl game comes around. If this team does in factgo 11-1, it will be the beggining of Notre Dame's return to the elite.

i actually agree entirely with the guy actually. we have all the talent we need on this team, the only way we should lose is if we are out coached.

... He rips ND's schedule, ...

but doesn't mention that 3 of the other 9 teams on his Most Improved List are ON ND's schedule:

#2 UM
#6 UW
#9 SU

Perhaps ND's schedule isn't so soft ...

And with #5 on his list, UCLA, perhaps USC's isn't so soft.
