VT QB playing on a bad ankle and looking great throwing on this drive.He's thowing outs to the the receivers outside shoulder and hitting receivers downfield in stride.

He's 16/26 226 yds and 1 TD playing less than 3 quarters.

Pitt ties the game at 29 with a Tackle Reverse for a TD and nifty shovel pass run for 2 points.

On the TD Pitt ran motion left, the QB faked play action to the RB up the middle then flipped the ball to the LEFT TACKLE that pulled behind the QB and ran right with no defender in front of him. One defender ran him down at the two and the Tackle O'Neill extended his 6-6 300 pound body and threw his shoulder into the defender for the TD. O'Neill used to be a TE.

On the 2 pt try Pitt ran motion right, the RB Connor ran two step past the QB toward the LOS and stopped. The QB strarted running right, turned and pitched a shovel pass back to the RB Connor who took it in for the score.

VT QB just scrambled for 6 yds, went into a slide to avoid being tackled and came up limping badly on his injured ankle.

Sweet TD catch by VT WR Isiah Ford in the near front corner of the end zone. The ball was underthrown and to Ford's outside shoulder. He and turned in and turned all the way around counterclockwise to make the grab with arms extended, it bounced out of his hands, and he pulled it in for the TD. He set the VT record for TD catches, 23.
