This weekend is the beginning of the new season. DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS MINNESOTA- DULUTH BULLDOGS take on the UMTC Gophers. The Gophers have lost in the last eight meetings, which pleases me greatly.

The Irish take on the USNDT in an exhibition match on Sunday. Don't sleep on the U-18, as they did beat UMD last year in a mid-season exhibition.

Notre Dame folded like a cheap chair down the stretch. Saw that short handed goal coming...were playing far too carelessly at that spot.
