NCAA 13 Xbox 360 Dynasty

Been seeing the PS3 dynasty post for too long, xbox360 is where it's at. I typically just do the offline dynasty, I hate the lag that comes with online football, but would definitely be willing to give it a try again, I know WE ARE ND was looking to join but he had an xbox like myself. If anyone is interested lets hear from you.

I want to play in a very structured approach to a dynasty.

Well-spelt out advancements, recruiting rules, and conference/scheduling is a must.

If you can manage this effectively, I'm on board. We should advance once per week. No vacation, work, etc. should get in the way.

Or the user should be set to autopilot and the game be played against the other user slated against CPU.

Thoughts?

I've been a part of multiple online dynastys that have gone 5 seasons and up since the feature was added. Coolest feature they have put in the NCAA series but I of course was one of the gamers who got the "transfer failed" bug in NCAA '12 at the beginning of November. Needless to say I was pissed.

I'm down for an IE online dynasty but I'm with Johnny, it's good to set some groundrules before starting one.

Well if we can all throw some more set rules we would like to see, I can get a list of them together and pick out the important ones to help keep the dynasty moving without really screwing anyone over. We have until Tuesday, though I read in the PS3 post that some of them would like to get a week or two to get the timeing and gameplay down before we jump right into a dynasty, please express your thoughts on that idea to.

I like a few ideas from the PS3 articles as well, the fact of having about a week (which we can tweak the length depending on everyones opinion) to finish a game, schedule a time for user vs user, do your recruiting, and if by the end of the time, then the auto-pilot comes into effect, with no whining from those that get simmed due to their inactivity. We can continue with more of your thoughts and tune out the details.

BTW, I love me some steak too, but to say Bacon is for boys is pure insanity. Bacon is a legit source of scrumpiousness, and is by far one of the best food items you can have with almost anything. I'm guessing you have never had a bacon donut, well sir, you haven't lived.

Johnny doesn't lie about his structured approach to the game.

We were able to get through 3 seasons (I think?) last year with I believe 4 people becoming commish at one point or another. If they build the game alot like last years; I'll be 100% on board with these rules:

1 - Wait until the roster release from the 3rd parties so we'll have actual rosters built and not some generic roster from EA (this normally takes about a few days to a week after the game is released).
2 - Minimum All-American difficulty.
3 - Last year we did 7 minute quarters (which may be a little much), 5 minute quarters would do me fine.
4 - Advance every sunday (and if a person doesn't play his game in consecutive weeks, he get put on auto-pilot)
5 - Free for all on teams (who will be THAT GUY to get ND?), try to atleast get 3 to 4 user games on each users schedule.
6 - Speed threshold set to 0. (nobody likes an 88 linebacker keeping up with your 96 runningback).
7 - Turn on custom playbooks, Turn off time savers.

This may seem like alot, but really its just minor things. I'm looking forward to this years game.

I agree with previous comments about structure and what not. My suggestion is human games should never be simulated. Human vs. CPU is fine if they players doesn't take care of their business. I had an issue with a human player not being available and not returning messages. While I could have played the game against a CPU, the commish decided to simulate it.

How is the lag in Online Dynasty?

I got to 17-0 in ranked matches last year before I gave it up. Way too much lag and I have FIOS so I know it wasn't me. I'd be very interested if the lag isn't that bad. I'd also like to wait until 1) people get acclimated to the game and 2) rosters are updated online.

I really hope the read-option works in this game!

I'm in. I also vote that we don't start the dynasty for at least a week. One reason is so people who get the game can practice for a bit, second so the rosters can come in, and third because I'm not getting the game for a week.

I also like not being able to select any team above 85 overall at the beginning. If you want to get a better team then do well for the first season or two and get hired by one.

If people can wait that long, I'm down. Roster names and correct depth charts make the experience better

Yeah, probably a good idea to wait it out, I just finished putting a wooping on OKLA 35-7, undefeated up to this point, Teo is an absolute monster in this game, and IMO, GAIII is better than Wood in the game at RB.

I'm in for the dynasty. I will have my game by this weekend but we should definitely wait for the named/updated rosters. I also think it would be a good idea to only use teams 85 and under. And we need to advance atleast once a week
