National Title Game

I didnt figure there would be much stirring about the NC game...but we're on the eve now of the game, what are everyone's thoughts? I'm just going to assume that 9 out of 10 of people on here are going to say LSU or will be pulling for LSU...

My thoughts...game depends on QB play of Boeckman, if he turns it over, OSU loses if he can manage the game and hand it off to Beanie Wells then we control the clock and field position and OSU wins.

Personally I'm sick of hearing about how the SEC is the premier college football conference and pretty much the champion of the SEC should play the Super Bowl winner to determine the best team in America...

I got the Buckeyes 29-24 against the Tigers. As much as it kills me to say, I'm rooting for the Buckeyes.

totally agree. i'm sick of the SEC, especially those whodini artists LSU. they escaped way too many times this year. i still think it's going to be tough for OSU to dominate them on their home turf. OSU has to control the clock and get some timely turnovers and stop LSU from converting on 8 4th downs!!!!! tressel is typically well prepared for games so we'll see. being from OH originally, i can't bear to listen to the buckeye faithful chirp.

Cliche I know, but still hoping for that hole in the earth to swallow these teams.

I'll be watching all the same. I TRULY can't stand OSU due to the fan factor (sorry backer), and they usually have some A-hole on the team you can root against. Can't says that anyone stands out to me so much this year, so I'll root for the Buckeyes in a 2-0 nailbiter. Les Miles is a cumtowel.

hah. It should be interesting...I think it will be a lot closer than many expect. I believe OSU will be able 2 run on LSU and if they do, they have a great chance of an upset. LSU's O doesn't really scare me. With that said, this should be a defensive battle and I will give the edge to LSU cuz of the home turf and big-play ability. LSU 20 OSU 17. I hate OSU and their fans and would love 2 c them lose once again in the title game.

NO CONTEST. and I despise Ohio State. but there is the wee little bit that remembers that Bobby Knight is a buckeye grad. Plus I would LOVE to go through off season with two Big Ten wins over the SEC glamour teams.

The Kentucky game was @ Kentucky....but I get what you're saying about the whole "we've never lost in regulation" comment made by Les Miles, you still got beat. Notre Dame was beat by Navy in OT does that not count as a loss to them? No, its a BS argument and everyone knows it.

As far as everyone's outcry of the Buckeye supporters...I know what you are saying and trust me, I came on this forum last year after the Buckeyes were completely dismantled and took my medicine, but I think, and hope, that I earned all you guys' respect by doing so and really I'm on here, and well as you all, to talk football...I'm just glad that you guys are entertaining me by responding to my post, so thank you and I hope more responses come in....Go Bucks
