A guy named Omar Bolden out of Canada of all places. He doesn't have an offer yet, but he already has one from Washington and UTEP.

Here's a quote from an article that makes me think he'd be a great fit for USC:
He reports a 2.0 GPA and took both the SAT and ACT in June. "My coach got the results and told me I did well," Bolden said. "I didn't care about the score. I just asked him, 'Do I need to take it again' and he said, 'no'. That was a relief."

Better still, he praises his own work-ethic (even though he's probably talking about 'hard work' as in practices, I still like to think he believes he's a good student).

The title of the article is actually "Relieved"

I think it is funnier that he actually has Notre Dame listed as a school of interest. The feeling must be mutual...I mean with that 2.0 gpa and that wonderful quote about his ACT and SAT scores. Charlie must chomping at the bit for this kid. Someone tell Irishfan81 that this may be one we can steal right out of the own back yard.

I'm sorry, Irishfan81, that wasn't very nice of me. please forgive me.

Nice to see the molder of men offered him. Ty got so much credit for his grad rates with Stanford and ND(no one seems to mention these schools always graduate a high percentage of their players regardless of who the coach is) it will be interesting to see what Washington's grad rates are in a few years.

Pretty funny that he lists ND, hell why not list Duke, Vandy, and Stanford while your at it.
