I know I'm a day late, but I had to post this in honor of our Blessed Mother.
Father Dan said today that "motherhood is a lifetime of dying to the self." I have experienced, and benefited from, this all my life, first with my mother, then with my wife, and now with my daughter. Thank you, Lord God, from the bottom of my heart, for mothers everywhere, and for the Mother of us all, Notre Dame.
