I believe the cubs draft players with the hopes their grand kids can get things turned around. Isn't that way Mark Grace played with the cubs so many years?

You know, as much as I love them I'm not very confident that this is going to be the year they'll win it all. I don't know why that really is, I guess if I tried to put my finger on it I would say they lack the ammount of quality starting pitching that I think is necessary to go all the way, as well as consistancy in producing runs. If they were playing like they were a few months ago I would think differently but as it stands right now I'm going to be optimistic but I'm not going to be delusional and homeristic because I don't feel the same way as I did in 2003.

But given all of that I really don't fear any of the other teams in the NL Playoffs. Then if you get to the WS who knows what'll happen.
