Aren't they both made by Nike? Also, I heard on ESPN that MJ didn't have anything to do with the commercial, they just mashed it up from a commercial he did for them 2 years ago or something.

Honestly, I quit watching when Jordan retired..

i've never been a huge fan of the nba, but i got attached to the cavs while lebron was here in cleveland because i figured if cleveland was gonna win a championship, i don't want it to be won by the one team i dont watch.

unfortunately, that has done more harm than good to my esteem. the last few years have been depressing.

Lebron is a punk. He still doesn't understand what he did. Its not that he left to go fail...err...play with his friends, he crushed a city. He left like a punk in the night (Envision the Baltimore Colts packing up for Indy). He doesn't owe anyone anything, but have some courtesy loser.

I love how Nike, using their past poster boy, throws their current poster boy under the bulldozer that he was driving over the floor of the Q.

The man... singled handedly ripped the heart out of an entire city.

I enjoyed the "Scotty Pippen" and "Witnessed Nothing" chants last night. It was wonderful.

Ripped out hearts of Cleveland

he doesnt understand what he did wrong. coming from a clevelander's point of view:

its no secret that cleveland fails at sports. and its not like we always suck and thats why. its because we get close all the time, but always find a way to blow it. (the shot, the drive, the fumble, losing the WS after a 1-0 lead with 2 outs, 2 strikes in the bottom of the ninth in game 7, collapsing after a 3-1 lead in the ALCS, etc.)

lebron said he got all that. that he wanted to end our suffering. we all thought he would be the one to lead clevelanders to witnessing (no pun intended) their first title since 1964. and then he left in one of the most heartbreaking, gutless, crushing ways anyone could imagine.

he said he understood. bullsh*t.

He doesn't owe the city anything. He fulfilled the length of his contract and left to play where he could win multiple championships as soon as Boston/Lakers get old.

The only problem was listening to Jim Gray and Maverick Carter. Cleveland fans and every other hater seriously need to get over it. He is happy and there are far worse things athletes have done. Last time I checked Dante Stallworth killed a man while DUI. Stop whining and get over it. The dude is a stud and Cleveland fans are just jealous he picked the brand new Ferrari instead of the beat up Ford Pinto.

WOW...so much wrong with that post.

Let's start with your 'brand new Ferrari' line. That brand new Ferrari is a city that could give a crap about basketball. They have to do 'fan up' promotions just for their new 'fans' to get to the game on time and make some noise. This brand new Ferrari is a team that absolutely SUCKS against teams that are decent. Look it up. They blow out crappy teams and lose to good teams. He plays the exact same position as Wade, and their skill sets are the same, and neither of them can play off the ball, so when they play teams that play D and don't allow fast breaks, they lose.

And this brand new Ferrari also can't rebound nor defend the paint. You simply can't win championships based off of that. And Chris Bosh is not part of a Big 3...he is an above average player that has a Euro game that doesn't mess well with this tem b/c they are without a true center.

And you said LeBron is waiting for the Lakers/Boston to get old. Well, he could've waited in Cleveland to get old and had a better chance at a ring. He didn't go to Miami to wait...he said he'd win "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8" championships with the Heat, remember?

We all know "LeDecision" was a monumental failure; no need to rehash that. What shows his true character is that he still sees nothing wrong with it. He still thinks that his little charade of having kids in the background and giving them money made it alright to stab a city/state in the heart on national TV (he could've played D-Wade one on one and made 3 times the money...just sayin') was not a big deal. Shows what a d-bag he really is.

And then to compound that, he and his buddies did that stupid WWE style party at the arena the very next night, prancing and parading around as if they had already won a title...when LeDumbass predicted 8 rings or more with the Heat. I'm watching that and I'm thinking...this guy ain't about winning, he's about having a good time and playing with his friends, period. You can talk crap about Kobe all day long (and believe me, I know he has his warts...just like MJ, who was extremely lucky he didn;t play with today's media), but at the end of the day, Kobe is about winning, and doing everything in his power to win. LeBrick simply isn't. He wants to win...Kobe and would DIE to win, or at least die trying. If LeBrick wanted to win, he'd either be playing in Cleveland where he won 60 games a year and had the roster built around him, or he'd be in Chicago where he'd be playing with the best roster in the NBA today (with him on it, that is).

And finally, saying Cleveland fans are jealous shows that you don't know the situation well at all. They aren't jealous...they're PISSED off. Beyond pissed off. This was not just an athlete, this was one of their own. And he stabbed them in the heart and the back in front of the nation, and didn't give an eff who it hurt. Kevin Durant announced his extension on Twitter...and LeBrick announced he was stabbing a city in the heat in front of millions about millions of people. They HATE him now; that's not jealousy, that's pure hatred.

There are a lot of ND fans on this site from Cleveland/Ohio, and for you to call them whiners is simplistic and for lack of a better term...rude. Take it easy.

we aren't jealous right now. sure, maybe a few years down the road when hes winning championships and we're still at the bottom of the league then yeah, but right now we just hate him.

people who stay crap like this don't get it. it's that he said he understood all the pain and suffering and said multiple times he would end it, promising to bring us a championship, but instead he just added a new and more painful chapter.

again, i'm not upset THAT he left. he had every right to leave, and i dont blame him for it. but the way he did it was unforgiveable. he dragged us along, leading us to believe we were the frontrunners for his "talents." the problem is, but announcing his decision at the last second, he screwed us over in our attempt to begin the rebuilding process by looking at other free agents instead of being wrapped up in him. he singlehandedly destroyed this franchise for the next 3-5 years because of his ego.

I root for a lockout most of the time. Otherwise, I just hope Lebron and Kobe lose (though as a competitor, I tip my hat to Kobe). But mostly Jordan's second retirement (out of 3) was the last time basketball was interesting to me.

Not to mention his owner who he let know 5 minutes before hand. Class act! It would be really good if they didn't even make the playoffs.

How are you going to blame the player for the management of a franchise? It just shows how clueless Danny Ferry or whoever the GM is now. Even the Knicks, with arguably the worst management and history of overspending of players did not wait for him to make a decision. They were proactive. They should have had a back up plan like the other teams involved.

The guy singlehandedly built that franchise from the ground up. Cavs were not existent as far as being competitive pre Lebron.

Big deal, he left without notifying his employer, he is immature. That does not warrant hate of any kind. I believe most Cavs fans are reveling at the fact that he is still gone. This will go away just like when Saban and the situation with ALA/LSU.

Not too mention an owner who really only cared if he stayed with his franchise as opposed to caring for him as an individual. He has done nothing wrong ethically and moral.

By the way, I am really starting to think that Lebron has be attending the Floyd Mayweather school of marketing and player image.

it wasn't perfect magagement, but it wasnt like it was bad management either. we had a backup plan. we just didnt have time to use it because lebron brought us all the way to the end of free agency without telling us jack

Big Deal? When you are being paid a boat load of money in any occupation you give your employer the respect they deserve when you leave. He left by shoving his wang up the collective a$$ of Cleveland.

BK basically screwed his team in Cincy and I doubt anyone here really cares. Urban Meyer did the same to Utah. They both built up those schools and left for a better situation. They make a boat load of money and did not even fulfill their contracts and Urban Meyer actually stated he would not leave Utah before signing with FLA. BK never commented on the situation until he was named coach of ND.

No big deal to me. **** happens and you get over it. Cav fans will get over it, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Not the same. College coaches have a limited opportunity to move due to NCAA regulations in relation to recruiting, and the fact that NSD is in Feb as opposed to December for basketball. You just can't compare those situations.

I did the same thing and this is the reason no one, in any sport, will ever do what MJ did... More people stopped watching when Jordan retired than will ever tune into the NBA.
