Minter to be Fired as DC along with oliver and polian

Donald made his decision (first of December), Zo because of academics (1 yr layoff at ND), so I don't believe any of this we had them but now because of the firing we don't.

Just wathched a video on blue and gold illustrated and Jason Sapp said in fact Martin and Donald were committed to ND and changed their mind for what ever reason. Defense is all about big, strong, fast athletes flying to the football. Playmakers with instincts...our team needs future NFL types creating havoc from sideline to sideline. Our next defensive coordinator needs to bring attitude and passion along with a scheme that allows
for disruptive play. Minter does not appear to me to be such a coordinator. His defensive scheme is to complex and reactive for my taste. We need a new DC and players that will put fear in the QB who is facing us in any week!

minter was let go before the last game, he stayed on to coach the bowl game

weis started informing recruits about it last week before the AA game

thats what cost us edwards, martin, and donald all of which were being recruited by Minter

its going to hurt us for D in this recruiting cycle, but in the long run its important to get a good coordinator, just look what ron english did for michigan

i believe the announcement is coming thursday, sounds like 3 coaches were let go, Minter for sure, then i would guess both oliver and polian

not sure who the new guy will be but i heard weis was looking at assistant coaches from the giants, browns, and jags

we will see

Donald said in an interview this past Sunday that he made up his mind 2-3 months ago but wanted to continue to look at ND to see if they had anything more to offer.
