Would be in 1st place of the Big 10 with a win over Iowa on Saturday. Has anyone else been impressed with these guys this year? They lost an ugly one to Wisconsin a few weeks ago, and besides the loss to Central Michigan (who is pretty good) has looked good this year. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see them win at home against Iowa then win their last two conference games (at Minnesota and at Purdue) and have a showdown at home against PSU at the end of the year to win the conference. I like Iowa but I'm really not sold on them and I think PSU or Iowa will beat OSU later this year which would open up a chance for MSU to win the conference.

My understanding is that Iowa showed vulnerability against Northern Iowa and Arkansas St. I think they'll drop one this year and I recently circled MSU.

I hope MSU wins this game and the conference. Especially if later this season we beat Pitt and they win the Big East...? If ND beats 2 BCS Conference champions, that will help our stock in this years BCS race.

IF my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle. IF ND wouldn't have pissed the game away to scUM and wouldn't have hit that missed extra point and scored a touchdown on their last possession against U$C (fuck Poodle), they would be undefeated and ranked in the top 10-12. Oh well! You can see where this is going ... it doesn't matter what MSU has done!

Maybe BC in the ACC too. Their division is pretty weak so unfortunately (I hate BC) they could end up in the ACC Championship

ok well those "ifs" are in the past. MSU is playing Iowa on Saturday so we can still speculate that all we want

Really? I'm pretty strength of schedule is a big part of rankings. So the more any of the teams we've beaten win, the better for us.

Irish4ever - Irishfan's post had nothing to do with what ifs - as in what MSU had done or didn't do - you quoted him saying that MSU could take 1st if they beat Iowa - quite a bit different.

I really like Kirk Cousins and think he's playing well especially for a sophmore. Seems to always find the open man. Definitely an NFL guy.
