Melrose Back in Hockey

So the Lightning has decided to make Barry Melrose their new coach. By bringing him back, will they also be single-handedly responsible for bringing back the mullet? Does anyone have a mullet any more? Did anyone know they have a hockey team in Tampa Bay? Does anyone care? I care, as I love hockey, but I question how effective he will be having been a commentator for so long now without having to live the demands of coaching. Thoughts?

Not a huge hockey fan but I respect the sport. I think this is a great hire. Look at his track record. I might head up to a game and watch them this year.

I think it's a good hire for TB. They have a pretty young team and he should be able to help develop them. Also heard he is looking to bring at least on ex-nhl player in as an assistant coach to help.

I think it's an excellent hire, can't wait to see Melrose's face when the Red Wings win the cup, AGAIN!

I am glad that he is back because he did have some good quotes when he was behind the bench in LA, though I will miss him on Sportscenter
