Yesterday I ran the NYC marathon. It was my first and last. I post this to warn others if they ever get the urge they should run a 1/2 marathon and call it a day. There is nothing fun about running 26.2 miles. If you set this as a goal send me a message and I will describe in detail how great I feel. In case you are wondering I did beat Kate Holmes. Use this as a warning, marathons are not fun.

To be fair and honest he did take a cab from mile 10 to mile 24 so if you want to consider that "running a marathon" go ahead. All kidding aside that is a great accomplishment, something I woul nor could ever do. Kaplan is one of my closest friends and I know how hard he has worked for this race.

Wow, that's quite the accomplishment. I can guarantee you I'll never get that urge. Running is not my idea of fun, EVER! The closest I'll ever come to running for fun is running away from the defenders towards the endzone, or running to congratulate a teamate that has just scored. Major props!
