Looking ahead to Stanford

Stanford looks like they've haven't been competitive too often this season, and may have played WAY over their heads against USC. However, they do have 3 wins, and they have this week off. So, what do we expect against a Stanford team that will have had almost two weeks to prepare for the Irish ?? Hard luck for Harbaugh, or no W for Weis?

Stanford hates ND. Penis Envy?. No help that TW rubbed it in couple years ago. Crap like that can linger. ND in for a hell of a fight. Don't know if this current ND team willing to punch back.

By the way, I have met Stanford and ND grads outside of football talk. Good people on both sides, but Stanford ones I met were full of poopoo.

I remember being at the game a couple of years ago in Palo Alto, and there was this cute little kid sitting in front of us, and every time he'd catch sight of the stupid mascot he'd shout out, "TREE!!" Too bad my little guy can't talk yet ...

Let's hope this team has some resolve and puts the whoopin to the Cardinal. We are infamous for let-down performances after emotional senior days. My (least) favorite was my senior year in '96 when we beat Rutgers 62-0 and then ended our monster win streak vs. USC the following week.
