It was unnecessary roughness. Mostly unnecessary above all else. If MSU had done it to Brady Quinn, you'd all be screaming. Ndukewe made up for it with the forced fumble.
That was about the most action he saw all night. Threw a TD pass and caught a couple of intermediate outs on the final drive before Lambert's second pick.
He's a big mouth and has had about 7 years of basketball eligibility and 5 for football. Someone needs to explain that to me.
Those MSU running backs are awesome. One very large kid that can run and another really fast guy. Why they were screwing around in the fourth quarter I'll never know.
Note to Rick Minter: You can't play a Cover 2 with bad linebackers. Stanton did a great job of finding receivers in the middle of the field. Luckily, the ND defense adjusted in the second half.
