Wiggins wouldnt be his position coach, so I'm curious as to why he would be the primary recruiter?

If it is because Hawaii is Wiggins area, that is a big plus in my books. With Polian gone, that is an important area.

Hawaii has some serious athletes in the 2023 class. I sure hope ND hits the islands hard!! AKANA, Liona LEFAU and Solomone Malafu are legit game changers.

Alabama still does regions. I don’t know how much he really owns Hawaii or why they got in with Tua for example but he’s a West Coast guy

We're probably going to miss Polian when it comes to recruiting Hawaii. He had built up some good relationships on the island.

I say put Elston on this. He's good at the job and most of the guys we recruit from Hawaii are defenders anyway.

I am probably sure that Freeman won’t mind take his wife there once or twice. She can find a beach while he is working
