Ever notice how when people say "LSU" they say it "L Esh U"??? I didnt know Esh was a letter but maybe I'm just being too damn picky.

"Proper" English isn't very popular in LSU country. It's "Nah-lens" not New Orleans down there.

I've never heard the pronunciations nor seen the spellings you two note. I see one of you lists Michigan as home and the other Ohio. Have either of you ever been out of your homestate? Your regional myopia is showing.

How about those were the exact words of a New Orleans native teaching me how to "properly" say her home town?

I wasn't slamming LSU or the state, just poking fun at their differences in regional dialect.
