Kicking game needs to be improved. I'll just say that much. That onside kick was pretty bad and it padded the stats, but in the end SC was still 2 TD's better than we were Saturday. That last score just provided additional ammo for all the haters. They won't focus on the actual game. They will just concentrate on the score. Then they will take this game along with the Michigan game and OSU game (even though one stop would have give us a chance to tie it late in the 4th qtr) and they will heap nothing but criticism on the ND program. Their defense was in our hip pocket all night. The poor kicking game just added to our many woes (receivers getting the dropsies, no pass rush, wr's running wide open down the middle of the field, etc.).
