(Fast forward 3 years)
The long wooden antique conference table was the main cog in the Victorian furnished room in the lawyer office. The Hart family sat awkward as the folders were placed in front of each of them. Slowly, each member opened the folder to find their inheritance that Mr. Hart left them. Kevin Hart, store manager for Costco, opened his and looked bewildered at the documents that were left inside. As each of the other members silently closed their folder, while respectfully holding their emotions in check, Kevin seemed to be the last family member to close his. "Son is everything ok?" his father asked.
"Well, I think so" Kevin replied.
" I don't get it" Kevin started rambling. " I mean what the f.."
"What is your problem Kevin?" a cousin asked sarcasticly.
" Check this crap out..." Kevin stated as he started to understand the documents that were given to him.
The cousin walked over to him in curiousity and the rest of the family followed. As the family began to understand the documents, remorseful comments began to echo. The parents began to console Kevin as he began to weep.
The cousin looked at the documents again to make sure what he read was correct. He started reading to himself:
Dear Kevin,
You know I love you. I forgave you for lying to me and the whole family. I made sure that you wouldn't be forgotten about in my will. Here is what I am leaving you.
