According to Joe Arnold of the Lancaster Gazette, Jonathon Carpenter has rejoined his former boss at ND. He was with Kelly at UC for the past two seasons.

Would've loved to get Bryant Young back. Or is he back and I missed it?

Good move for Young. Maybe someday he can come back as a line coach or DC. He just needs coaching experience and I think GA work for another year would not have helped him.

BK is surrounding himself with people he is familiar with and that can make for a good team. One of CW problems was his staffs never developed a chemistry amount themselves. Ara and Lou staffs were solid and everyone support each other. It wasn't till the end of Lou ND career that the staff additions / replacements weren't are fit for him.
