Yesterday in the Texas recruiting thread, http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/not...iting/51767-texas-jr-day-bags-13-verbals.html I pointed out some of the difficulty ND has competing with in-state schools and demographics. UTX is expecting 250 prospects for their Sping Game and about 200 of them will be prospects for 2012 not 2011. That gives them a significant edge in building relationship for recruiting.
Take a look at this USC site. Kiffin has more than a half dozen camps set up to feed the Trojan recruiting machine new meat. Also note the number of coaching clinics where they sell the kids mentors.

ND was relatively late getting into the camping business. JoePA was mining it for a decade or more before ND got started. For all his faults Bob Davie realized the benefits of camps from his Texas background made it a significant part of ND recruiting but looking at USC and UTX, ND still is at the back of the pack using this resource.
