1570 SAT and 3.5 GPA. He's good enough as far as I'm concerned.

Weis is looking at top tier guys, but he also wants players that will fit into the system and that are good, quality human beings.

I would imagine Ryan is a minimum 3-star player.

Nice to hear we are still getting quality on defense now.

With two DE now locked in, tackles and DBs will be the focus on defense.

From a recruiting standpoint, even though he hasn't coached a down yet Weis has been superior in recruiting. I believe only Texas and Georgia have more verbals right now.

This time last year, ND had none. They could open against Pitt with 12-15 verbals. And if they start winning on the field, the floodgates could really open.

Cause of excitement and optimism as far as recruiting goes...

Lemming said he's a higly ranked 3 star player, or a low ranked 4 star guy. Much like Lawrence Wilson was last year.

I think he fits the mold of what they're trying to do. Ryan and Wade together will be a nice duo for years to come.
