As long as someone tells him no one wears their hat backwards anymore then I’m fine with the hire.
You can pry my backwards hat from my cold dead handsAs long as someone tells him no one wears their hat backwards anymore then I’m fine with the hire.
Did you just make this up?As long as someone tells him no one wears their hat backwards anymore then I’m fine with the hire.
Most def. You can tell by the grip whether I'm throwing it on backwards or tossing it on forwards. Is it a backwards hat if it's in your hands?
He’ll be one of our top recruitersSo does the guy recruit??
Can't add anything to this post. This is the definition of a home run hire. Checks all of the boxes....great recruiter, great position coach, proven track record, ability to utilize multiple star players, etc. Way to go Freeman and Co.!!!
Just be honest, you miss the days of a proper bowler hat.Sometimes you guys are too easy. lol
Idk about that. Denbrock is what, 60? I’d imagine he could have been a G4 head coach at this point if he wanted to beGot to think part of his draw to ND was the potential to become the OC because it's only a matter of time before Dembrock gets a promotion elsewhere. Be his assistant a year or two and then be in line to take over.
Also I can confirm fanny packs are coming back (if they ever truly left, it's very debatable)
I agree, I'd be more shocked if Denbrock left at this point than I was Golden moving on. I think he retires as the OC for Notre Dame.Idk about that. Denbrock is what, 60? I’d imagine he could have been a G4 head coach at this point if he wanted to he
I agree. I think he's content to finish off his career where he's at. Good pay, good job minus the stress of being a HC.Idk about that. Denbrock is what, 60? I’d imagine he could have been a G4 head coach at this point if he wanted to be
I read from PSU fans that he's amazing at recruiting Florida. Might see more Miami kids buying parkas. So does the guy recruit??
Prister and Maine Frank mentioned it when they hired him. They said he didn’t want it.I agree. I think he's content to finish off his career where he's at. Good pay, good job minus the stress of being a HC.
Geraldine Porker Notre Dame manIt sounds like if you believe PSU board whispers this has been maybe longer time coming then initial shock. He had kids all HS/college age including at least one at PSU as a walk on that are now older. He may have stayed at PSU a few years past what he really wanted to and now was free to move along and ND was prime opportunity
Type of thing War Daddy Parker may have known, or maybe DMC himself
Putting up with James Franklin for the kids. Dad of the decadeIt sounds like if you believe PSU board whispers this has been maybe longer time coming then initial shock. He's from the Muck. He's country.I read from PSU fans that he's amazing at recruiting Florida. Might see more Miami kids buying parkas.
Probably. Jayden Daniels was the goose that would have provided him that golden egg.If Denbrock wanted to be a HC, I would venture to say he would have never taken the ND OC job
probably the most impoverished/academically underfunded area of the country, not sure thats much benefit to ND recruiting tbhHe's from the Muck. He's country.
That's the why I've been calling for ND to hire Pete Kwiatkowski for umpteen years. He doesn't want to be a HC either.Probably. Jayden Daniels was the goose that would have provided him that golden egg.
He just turned 61 last month. For as long as he's been coaching, he's never been a head coach. I Don't know if he'll retire at ND but I don't think he is looking for an HC job at this point of his career.
You just never know with these guys, though.
Yep. It's as turd world as anywhere from the Bayou to Appalachia.probably the most impoverished/academically underfunded area of the country, not sure thats much benefit to ND recruiting tbh
