Now that the Indians are completely out of the post season race, my mind is moving on to College Football. I won't be able to get to an ND game this year, it looks like. However, I have a buddy who is getting married, near Denver, in September. The wedding is the 20th (a Saturday). The Thursday before (the 18th), WV is playing Colorado in Boulder. So we decided to check on tickets, and voila........I will be attending the Thursday night ESPN West Virginia vs. Colorado game. So I guess I will have to settle for that. Work and life are conspiring to keep me from making it to South Bend (or anywhere else ND plays) this year.

I know the feeling as far as baseball is concerned. When Smoltz went down, I pretty much started gearing up for football season. Down here in Georgia the excitement is so thick you can cut it with a knife. There has been hype about the Dawgs in recent years, but nothing like it's been this off-season.

Plus, I'm planning a road-trip to my first Notre Dame home game, so that's the icing on the cake.

Anybody know of a classifieds site where I might need to keep an eye out for Pittsburgh tickets. Craigslist is usually the standby for UGA tickets, but I didn't know if there was some other site I could follow for ND games.

(Sorry to hijack the thread... just kinda led to that).
