It is ironic that ND 'hit' to end the game after they went nuts when McDonald was blindsided. Two comments -one I never understood how guys get happy on a blindside hit ( its like a sucker punch ) part of the game ( yes ) but no bravado there for me. Two- you get what you sow and McCarthy hit to win at a crucial game point and then it seemed to me like he wanted to check and see if the guy was OK but his team collected him to celebrate- he looked back as if to say check him we hit hard- is he OK? I may be wrong but I saw no celebration of the hit- I saw glee that ND won the game. There is a difference.
