Interesting Gerald McCoy Update

According to SoonerScoop.com Editor Carey Murdock, McCoy likely will not get that much playing time this year. He said it on rivals radio just a couple minutes ago. Some underated kid, not sure who but I think he's a freshman, is looking awesome and is ahead of Gerald on the charts. I'll try to find add'l information. Thought that was interesting. Still wish we had this kid.

They have some pretty good DT on that team.

This is also what most are considering to be one of the strongest defenses in America.

Wow. I can't believe that he isn't starting, let alone possibly getting passed by another freshman. He looked like a man amongst boys at last year's Army All-American game. He was the one recruit that I hated losing last year.

I've been trying to research and can't find anything, it may very well be a red-shirt freshmen or a sophomore. But yeah he made it sound like neither are going to start and that McCoy will not see much playing time.

Here you go guys, depth chart as of 8/18 for oklahoma. Two observations McCoy isn't on the two deep. Granger the red shirt freshman was a 5 star guy so that is likely not who the guy was talking about and I can't find anything else except one small thread on their rivals mess. board. They are stacked on the d-line, i mean stacked!!! I think they have something like 8 DT and 8 DE on their roster.
